Femke’s World was a deeply personal project, centred on translating an internal, imagined space into a physical outcome. In collaboration with Tabitha Easterbrook, who transformed this vision into a realised visual, the casting process became integral to communicating that narrative.

Unlike more technically driven projects, this casting prioritised energy and personality over strict physical criteria. The selected model was chosen for her ability to reflect my own presence and emotional register, allowing the work to feel authentic rather than performed.
