“I would have loads of tattoos that cover my whole body. Basically modifying my character to the extreme.”
This concept explored the idea of extreme self-modification — using the body as a site for transformation, where identity is constructed, layered, and pushed beyond its natural state. In collaboration with Tabitha Easterbrook, the casting process became central to expressing this altered sense of self.
The model was selected for her ability to carry intensity and control, with a presence that could hold visual disruption without losing coherence. Rather than focusing solely on existing tattoos, the casting prioritised someone whose features and energy could support the illusion of full-body modification.
